Workshop with Kathrin Ohnsorge (Italy)
12. – 13. 1. 2019, 9.00-17:00
Centrum kundaliní jógy, Jindřišská 10, Praha 1
In these two days we investigate a Sat Nam Rasayan-approach to the last phase of life: to assist who is passing, to alleviate suffering, to bring about relaxation and find conscious presence for others or oneself during these particular and often difficult times.
Assisting a person who is dying requires openness, absence from judgment and preconceptions; it requires also awareness of the process and sensitivity for the needs and experiences of the dying, especially during times where communication can become less evident.
The scope of Sat Nam Rasayan during this last phase of life is to reduce stress and to relax a person as much as possible so to enable to go through the process in a conscious way. On Saturday we will investigate how to be present with the dying, how to alleviate suffering and increase relaxation through the meditative approach of Sat Nam Rasayan, through our sensitivity, awareness, and inner silence.
On Sunday, we will use Sat Nam Rasayan to explore how to go through the process of dying in a yogic way. How do we localize ourselves in a process in which the elements dissolve and the way we usually sense ourselves vanishes?
The course is open for whoever is interested and does not require any pre-knowledge.
“The best thing to do is making the journey comfortable, just letting somebody know at this moment, you are with them and your prayers are with them…at this crossing juncture of time when space is giving up, time is becoming zero.” Yogi Bhajan
